Business rates and transport links

Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy.

They are innovative, resilient, and entrepreneurial.

I've launched a petition to support small businesses with lower business rates, helping them thrive.

We need to boost high street footfall with longer free parking, step-free stations, and better bus services.

My petition also calls for improved transport links. Get involved. 

And some good news: March retail sales are up 3.5% YoY. The UK is now the world's fourth largest exporter! In addition, I fully support the Prime Minister's move to make assaulting retail workers a standalone criminal offence.
